1. Dari Abu Hurairah radliallahu 'anhu bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Apabila bulan Ramadhan datang, maka pintu-pintu surga dibuka". (HR al-Bukhari)

2. Dari Abu Hurairah radliallahu 'anhu; Bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Puasa itu benteng, maka (orang yang melaksanakannya) janganlah berbuat kotor (rafats) dan jangan pula berbuat bodoh. Apabila ada orang yang mengajaknya berkelahi atau menghinanya maka katakanlah aku sedang berpuasa (ia mengulang ucapannya dua kali). Dan demi Dzat yang jiwaku berada di tanganNya, sungguh bau mulut orang yang sedang berpuasa lebih harum di sisi Allah Ta'ala daripada harumnya minyak kasturi, karena dia meninggalkan makanannya, minuman dan nafsu syahwatnya karena Aku. Puasa itu untuk Aku dan Aku sendiri yang akan membalasnya dan setiap satu kebaikan dibalas dengan sepuluh kebaikan yang serupa". (HR al-Bukhari)

Themed 'Live Our Dreams, Fly Our Flag', this year's National Day Parade (NDP) celebrates Singapore's 45th year of nationhood, and the parade returns to the historical setting of the Padang.

This year, a total of 30 contingents will take part in the Parade & Ceremony segment of the NDP.

The Parade & Ceremony segment represents the 5 pillars of the Total Defence: Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence and Psychological Defence.

In addition, there will be 10 social and economic groups from the PAP, NTUC, HDB, PUB, SingTel, SATS, ERA, Keppel Corp, Sembcorp Industries and Sembcorp Marine representing the social and economical defence.

Finally, there will also be a Combined Band contingent this year that will feature the students from the NCC Band combining with members from the SAF Band and Police Band to provide the resounding beat for the participants.

After the marching out from the Padang, the spectators will be treated to the Aerial Display and Mobile Column performances that take place in NDP once every five years. The participants will re-constitute and go on to a march around the Marina Bay area, symbolising the march forward into the new Singapore.

Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadan.........

Saudara sekalian,
Kenapa kita mesti berpuasa? Jawabannya:

1. Agar kita terbebas dari api neraka.

“Ya Allah, jauhkan diri kami dengan api neraka Mu sebagaimana Engkau jauhkan timur dan barat. Ya Allah, jauhkanlah diri kami daripada api neraka. Ya Allah selamatkan lah kami dari api dan azab neraka. Ya Allah, kami berlindung kepadamu dari api neraka dan segala sesuatu yang dapat mendekatkan diri kami kepadanya baik dari perkataan atau perbuatan. Dan kami mohon kepadamu ya Allah sorga Mu dan segala sesuatu yang mendekatkan diri kami kepadanya dari perkataan maupun perbuatan.”

Nabi bersabda, “Barangsiapa yang berpuasa sehari, maka ia akan dijauhkan oleh Allah dari api neraka selama 70 tahun”.

2. Mencari cinta Allah swt.

Allah swt berfirman dalam sebuah hadith qudsi, “semua amalan anak Adam akan dibalas dengan sepuluh ganjaran sampai 700 kebaikan kecuali puasa. Ia hanya untuk Ku dan Aku yang akan memberi balasan”.

Subhanallah! Inilah hubb. Inilah cinta.
Syaikh hasan ya'kub suatu ketika pergi ke masjid nabawi dan hendak menuju ke raudah. Lalu ada satu orang yang bertanya, "mau kemana ya syekh?" syekh hasan menjawab, "saya mau pergi ke raudah" orang itu mengatakan, "kenapa mesti kesana, tidak ada apa2 disana selain hadith yang mengatakan bahwa raudah itu adalah sebagian dari taman2 surga. Tidak ada kelebihan yang lebih diraudah". Apa jawaban syaikh hasan, "saya tidak mencari itu, saya kesana karena cinta. Cinta utk dekat dgn nabi". Kalau kita berada diraudah berarti kita dekat dengan sayyidina nabi saw.

Maka demikian pula dgn puasa. Kenapa kita berpuasa? Karena hubb/cinta kita kepada Allah. Allah swt mengkhususkan beberapa hal utk diri Nya. Seperti ka'bah (Allah katakan baiti) walaupun seluruh masjid adalah rumah Allah tapi khusus utk kabah Allah katakan, "baiti" demikian juga dgn puasa "assaum li"

3. Puasa adalah perisai

Nabi bersabda, “Puasa adalah perisai (benteng), melindungi seorang hamba dari api neraka”

Melindungi dari apa? Melindungi dari perbuatan maksiat. Masuk kedalam kamar, kunci dan tidak ada orang yang akan melihat kita. Lalu disuruh minum air. Tentu saja kita tidak akan minum. Karena Allah swt melihat kita.

4. Puasa adalah masa utk doa kita diterima

Nabi saw bersabda, “Tiga macam doa yang tidak akan tertolak: doa pemimpin yang adil, orang yang berpuasa hingga dia berbuka, dan doa orang yang dizalimi”.

Jadi, sepanjang kita berpuasa doa kita mustajab. Bukan hanya waktu iftar saja. Oleh karena itu kalau kita lihat dalam alquran surat albaqarah ayat tentang puasa (ya ayyuhallazina amanu kutiba alaikum siyam…) setelah itu ayat (syahru ramadanallazi unzila fihil qurana..) setelah itu ayat (fa iza saalaka 'ibadi anni fainni qariib..) lalu kemudian terakhir ayat (uhilla lakum laelata siyam rafatsu ila nisaaikum..).

Jadi, ditengah-tengah ayat tentang puasa, Allah menyelipkan ayat tentang doa ini. Kita minta cinta Nya, kita minta keridaan Nya, kita minta kemuliaan, dan kita minta sorga Nya Allah swt. Dan diantara syarat diterimanya doa adalah: at-tazallul (ketundukan), inkisar (….), izharu faqr (memperlihatkan kelemahan dan hajat kita).

Oleh karena itu nabi saw melarang kita untuk berdoa seperti ini, “Ya Allah ampunilah hamba Mu ini bila Engkau berkehendak”

Kalimat "insyi'ta" itu seperti seolah-olah kita sudah kaya dan tidak perlu lagi. Misalkan kita nawarin sesuatu ke orang lain, "mau ini ga?" lalu dia jawab, "ya.. kalo kau mau kasih kasihlah, kalo tidak ya ga usah" jangan dikasih. Tapi kalau dia jawab, "iya saya mau" pasti akan kita kasih. Demikian juga insan ketika meminta kepada Allah swt hendaknya memperlihatkan keperluannya betul-betul. Tidak setengah-setengah. Nabi bersabda, “Berdoalah kepada Allah dan kalian yakin akan di ijabah oleh Nya”. Yakin bahwa Allah swt itu kaya, Allah itu maha pemurah

5. Puasa menghapus dosa (as siyam yukaffir zunub)

Nabi saw bersabda, “antara shalat 5 waktu, dari Ramadan ke Ramadan, dari umrah ke umrah penghapus dosa diantaranya”

Sekarang, kalau ada seseorang yang shalat, tapi dia punya dosa yang besar. Apa yg mesti dilakukan? Dosa besar perlu kepada taubat.

6. Puasa akan memberi syafa'at kepada kita pada hari kiamat

Allah berfirman, “Wahai umat manusia, bertaqwalah kepada Tuhan kamu! Sesungguhnya gempa hari kiamat itu suatu perkara Yang amat besar.” (al-Hajj:01)

Hari kiamat hari benar-benar menakutkan. Hari dimana seorang saudara lari dari saudaranya yang lain, seorang ibu dari anaknya, dari ayahnya, dari sahabatnya dari anak-anaknya.

semenjak bekerja ini,,,,macam-macam hal.....hary itu aku amiK mc sal APPENDIX...skg FEVER & COUGH...aku alik siang dari keje sal aku btol tkleh tahan....ingtkan pat uma kurang sikit....makin bertambah....haix......macam ner nk keje ni bsk????BLG AKU SEKARANG.....Suasana ketika itu memang terik panasnye. ... musim panas2 ni ramai org demam termasuk la aku....Tiap-tiap hari aku minum air putih.....suhu aku naik....aku stress.....

semalam aku tito pun tk tenteram setelah mkn dua bijik pill running nose..bsk ampai keje trus ngantok giler,badan lemah....tk larat langsung aku nk berkerja....bila off tknk sakit...bila on keje,mcm2 hal...BENCI3X

Sometimes in life you have those moments where you reflect back and wonder how you got where you are in life right now. As I reflect on that I remind myself that everything happens for a reason. It doesnt seem likely that unexpected events can change the circumstances of your life so suddenly, but they do. Life changes everyday, life can sometimes hit you hard with the unexpected and sometimes can be so good to you, but where you let it go from there is really up to you. You can choose where it can take you - whether you learn from it or let it break you. You have the power to not let it take over you. Life is all about living, learning from life helps ya get through life and live life better.

Diam Dan Bercakap....Manakah Yang Terbaik?

Kadang-kadang, timbul satu perasaan serba-salah. Kalau bagi pendapat, ada pihak yang berduka-cita dan terasa. Kalau tak bagi pendapat, maka mungkin lagi parah jika tidak turut memberi pendapat kerana kadang-kadang pendapat kita itulah jawapan yang boleh membantu.

Itu satu hal. Kadang-kadang, apa yang kita tulis sama ada di blog atau forum akan dianggap lain maksudnya oleh orang lain. Padahal kita maksudkan lain. Jadi adakah tanpa perlu tulis apa-apa adalah jalan terbaik agar tiada orang yang terguris hati?

Ya, memang tak semua orang kita boleh jaga hati mereka. Kita tidak mampu kerana semua orang mahu puaskan hati sendiri. Tapi persoalan di sini, yang mana satukah tindakan terbaik untuk dilakukan di dalam satu-satu keadaan? Bercakap atau berdiam diri? Kalau nak bercakap atau menulis juga, apakah cara yang terbaik?

Ada satu tip yang mungkin anda sudah tahu iaitu cara kita menulis, bercakap atau menyampaikan sesuatu pendapat. Si A dan B cakap benda sama, tapi si A cakap dengan nada yang marah-marah dan emosional. Si B pula cakap dengan relaks, profesional dan mengawal setiap patah perkataannya.

Pada anda, siapakah yang lebih mudah diterima? Biasanya orang jenis Si B tadi kerana beliau tidak emosional. Jadi itu satu cara untuk menulis atau mengatakan sesuatu iaitu cara kita menyampaikan.

NAMUN…

Tak semua perkara kita perlu sertai sekali. Orang kata, jangan nak menyibuk dengan perkara yang tidak perlu. Sebab ia adalah salah satu jerat yang memakan banyak masa anda, walaupun ia perkara yang baik.

Pendek kata, berfikirlah dahulu sebelum berkata-kata. Perlu atau tidak? Jika perlu, maka susunlah ayat-ayat yang ingin dikatakan dengan sebaik mungkin.

Namun perlu ingat. Sebaik mana pun ayat-ayat anda, masih tetap ada mereka yang tak akan puas hati. Maka di sinilah pentingnya anda mengawal emosi agar tidak tergelincir dengan ayat-ayat yang boleh mencalarkan nama dan kredibiliti anda.

Selain itu, dengan bersifat toleransi atau bertolak-ansur, insyaAllah tidak akan berlakunya pertikaman lidah. Walaupun pendapat orang lain tidak tepat, tetapi dengan bertolak ansur dan tidak memanjang-manjangkan perbincangan, maka pergaduhan boleh dielakkan.

Di dunia ini, anda tidak akan mampu mengawal semua hati manusia. Sebaliknya anda hanya mampu dan perlu berusaha sebaik yang mungkin sahaja. Orang suka atau tidak, itu bukan masalah anda, tapi ia adalah ‘masalah’ mereka…

People are who they are and we are not going to change them. We tend to be driven by things we believe and think we know. Our way may be great for us; in most cases their way is working just as well for them. When we do not accept people for who they are; we are rejecting the person. Sometimes if we listen to others we find out that their way is actually better!People have faults and we can choose to live with them or not. Friendship is very similar in marriage. A great friendship is life long, and we accept each other unconditionally. We should never try to mold other people in our image. Other than family we choose the people we want to be around. It is important for all of us to accept a person for who they are and not want we think they should be.

This does not apply to destructive behavior. If someone is in trouble, we should try to help them in any way we can. We need to remember, that not everyone wants our help! It can be hard, but it is important to learn when to move away and let people have their space.

Life is quite a challenge from the time we are born to the time we die. We have all taken different roads to get to where we are. The variety of our past experiences is what forms us into who we are! We should accept, embrace and respect people as they are. Our differences are what make us unique and interesting people. We need to accept our own strengths and our weaknesses. Acceptance is a very important part of life. If we let it, it can lead us on our path to inner peace.
We must pick our battles carefully and not try to change things we have no business changing. We need to accept people for who they are and not who we think they should be. Each of us has a place and a way of being. If we do not enjoy the people around us, we should not play God and try to change them. We should move on to someone who is compatible and shares a mutual respect with us. We need to spend our time enjoying the people around us, instead of trying to fix that which is not broken.

ITE Graduation Ceremony Class Of MMT

Today I had my graduation ceremony at ITE HEADQUARTER AUDITORIUM. I had a great time there,I did feel a little silly wearing lady-like outfit instead of wearing a collar blouse,They were more for show than for practicality - a few people had to clip them to their hair just to get the mortarboard to stay on.The thousands of applauses from the students rocked the hall when the guest of honour entered. Everyone was so excited about who the guest was. When we had reached e seat, we hear the speech frm our college representative.After the hymn, the host invited the principal to give the graduating pupils her speech and the guest after her. Although the first speech was quite dry, the second was pretty interesting. dey showed us e top gold medal pupil and it made a lot of sense. GUESS???College central(Bedok)--James receiving a gold award top student.....Wow...

We only went for our refreshments after taking enough photographs to keep our memories of the last day our ceremony. We had some photograph-taking outside e auditorium. I ate sum of e foods der. They tasted succulent and nice. I did not eat much because one of my friends told us that we could take photographs with our lectures. We took a group picture with dem. all of my classmates excited to mit again our lecturer.

Along the way back home was the time when I felt ‘funny’. The feeling was so special that no words could describe it. It felt as if it was infused with many other kinds of feelings. The feeling was stronger when I had reached home. I knew I am lying to myself if I told myself I did not miss the school and my friends. Today’s event left me feeling poignant.

on 17feb,it was my ess course at tampines north....i supposed to cum at 9am bt im late.reaching der at 12pm to the c.c,i step in to the office n ask whr is my class.dey ask me y i am late n i replied ''sory im late coz i tot e course start e next day''den dey asked me to attend the class at 2pm.so while waiting 4 e tyme,i went to the shop to buy sum snack.

past 2pm,i went up to level3 to find e room.my teacher ask me y im late???i said e same ans to who i speak dat aft.noon.i fear dat she will ask me to go bk...luckily.......

after that,der's a hot drinks n foods remaining at e table.den i scoop a sum of fried mee hoon and a cup of hot tea.

subsequently.....my class hav alot of mly comparing to e other races.diff kind of attitude/character...ade jgk org giler agknye baru kuar i.m.h....hahahax.........self-centered!!!not interested in her character...bt wateva it is,,,,juz be patient......ignore to dose ppl who r lyke her....

and den i hav a new budies at the school,,,,fourth of dem was so njoyable,go-lucky.i glad to make frenz wif dem...we studying,eating,hanging out together.....
